Dr. Yogendra K is Professor of Environmental Science and Director of the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Kuvempu University, Karnataka. His research focuses on forest ecology, long-term ecological monitoring, climate–vegetation interactions, microclimate, carbon sequestration, and biodiversity conservation in tropical forests of the Western Ghats. He leads collaborative research on long-term ecosystem monitoring and works closely with national and international partners to improve tree inventory, climate resilience, and sustainable forest management through field-based ecological research.
